GLOW Peptide Blend Research Protocol: GHK-Cu, BPC-157 & TB-500

The GLOW blend is a 70mg multi-peptide research formulation combining three compounds studied for tissue regeneration and repair: GHK-Cu (50mg), BPC-157 (10mg), and TB-500 (10mg). Each peptide operates through a distinct biological mechanism, and their combination is designed to address tissue repair through complementary pathways simultaneously.

The Three Compounds and Their Mechanisms

GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide) — 50mg

GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide found in human plasma. It has been extensively studied for its roles in wound healing, collagen and elastin synthesis, anti-inflammatory activity, and tissue remodeling. GHK-Cu activates the TGF-β pathway and has been shown in cell culture studies to upregulate the expression of genes involved in tissue repair. At the cellular level, it stimulates fibroblast proliferation, promotes angiogenesis, and modulates metalloproteinase activity to support tissue remodeling. The 50mg component in the GLOW blend reflects its role as the primary regenerative compound in the formulation.

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound) — 10mg

BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino acid peptide derived from a protective protein found in gastric juice. It is among the most extensively studied peptides in animal models, with research focused on angiogenesis, gastrointestinal mucosal protection, tendon and ligament healing, and neurotrophic activity. BPC-157 is believed to act partly through the NO (nitric oxide) system and VEGF signaling, promoting the formation of new blood vessels and accelerating connective tissue repair. Its inclusion alongside GHK-Cu provides complementary vascular support to GHK-Cu's direct cellular repair mechanisms.

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4 Analog) — 10mg

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of Thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring 43-amino acid protein present in most human tissues. Thymosin beta-4 is a primary regulator of actin polymerization — a fundamental process in cell motility and migration. In research models, TB-500 has been studied for its ability to accelerate tissue repair by promoting cell migration to wound sites, stimulating angiogenesis, and reducing inflammation. Its mechanism is distinct from both GHK-Cu and BPC-157, acting primarily at the cytoskeletal level rather than through growth factor or nitric oxide pathways.

Why These Three Compounds Together

The rationale for combining GHK-Cu, BPC-157, and TB-500 in a single formulation is mechanistic complementarity. Each compound addresses a different aspect of the tissue repair process:

  • GHK-Cu — Drives extracellular matrix remodeling, collagen synthesis, and gene-level repair signaling
  • BPC-157 — Supports vascular repair through angiogenesis and gastrointestinal/connective tissue protection via NO/VEGF pathways
  • TB-500 — Promotes cell migration and cytoskeletal reorganization via actin regulation

Reconstitution Protocol

The GLOW blend ships as a single lyophilized (freeze-dried) vial containing all three compounds pre-mixed at their respective concentrations.

Required materials: Bacteriostatic water (BAC water), insulin syringe (1 mL / 100 IU), alcohol swabs, clean surface.

Standard reconstitution volumes and resulting concentrations:

Procedure:

  1. Wipe both vial tops with an alcohol swab and allow to air dry 10–15 seconds.
  2. Draw the desired volume of BAC water into the syringe.
  3. Insert the needle at an angle, directing it toward the glass wall of the vial rather than directly at the powder.
  4. Slowly release the BAC water down the inside of the vial wall. Do not squirt directly onto the powder.
  5. Do not shake. Gently roll the vial between your palms until fully dissolved.
  6. The solution should be clear and colorless.

Storage

  • Unreconstituted: Store at −20°C, protected from light. Do not freeze-thaw repeatedly.
  • Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2–8°C. Use within 4–6 weeks. Do not freeze reconstituted solution.
